COLOR-ADJUSTABLE LIGHTS AND LIGHT SOURCES
CCT color temperature-adjustable luminaires and light sources offer flexible lighting solutions for indoor and outdoor use. With adjustable light color ranging from warm white to cool white, they provide uniform, needs-based, and reliable lighting for a wide variety of applications. In addition, the power output—adjustable in at least two steps—allows for flexible and energy-efficient adaptation to different requirements.
What does CCT stand for?
CCT stands for Correlated Color Temperature and describes the color of light emitted by a luminaire. It is measured in Kelvin (K).
The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light appears. Higher Kelvin values produce a cooler, more energizing light.
3,000K → warm white & pleasant
4,000K → neutral white & balanced
6,500K → daylight white & focused
With CCT-variable lights, the light color can be flexibly adjusted to different requirements and times of day.
